FIRE is looking for a full-time Back Server to join our team! The Back Server is an important part of the team, providing excellent guest experiences. This is a full-time position, paid hourly, and candidates must be willing to work 40+ hours, 5 days a week (Tuesday through Saturday). 

FIRE: A bold tasting menu experience pushing fire and its transformative power in cooking. In creating this concept, Chef Achatz magnifies open fire cooking techniques including ember cooking, ash-salt crusting, Patagonia-style asado crosses, and bringing back the iron presses. He explored all temperatures from top to bottom.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of how to greet and acknowledge guests throughout their experience
• Primary owner of water service, including an accurate knowledge of all guest water preferences
• Maintains a complete working knowledge of all the silver, plate, and glass markings of all menus
• Correctly clears tables without disrupting the guest experience
• Proficient knowledge of beverage menus, including techniques/ingredients used in cocktails
• Beginner knowledge of wine service
• Correctly clears tables as directed by management
• Performs coffee service
• Trains others and upholds the standards set by the Chefs and managers
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

Requirements

• 1 or more years experience as a server or related position
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to carry a tray with food and/or drinks
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Thinks clearly, quickly, and maintains concentration during high pressure situations

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
• Must be able to move, pull, or lift at least 35 pounds
• Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
