Facilities Associate

THE ROLE

At The Alinea Group, our Facilities team works diligently to maintain, repair, and operate each of our restaurants, ensuring guest safety, comfort, and operational efficiency. This team plays a key role in performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting daily operations.

We are seeking a Facilities Associate to play a hands-on role in supporting our operations by maintaining warehouse organization, receiving and processing maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

  • Role Title: Facilities Associate (Warehouse Focused)

  • Employment Status: Variable Hour (part-time or full-time)

  • Schedule: Friday through Monday (4 days); 10:00am - 6:00pm CST

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly (weekly) performs and maintains inventory of warehouse stock, ensuring that all items are properly stored, new items are categorized, and digital records are kept up to date.

  • Maintains the overall appearance of each restaurant and the warehouse by replacing damaged items, repairing fixtures, and upholding high standards of craftsmanship.

  • Intakes and executes service repair requests, traveling to restaurants to complete them.

  • Troubleshoots and accurately identifies solutions to repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, serviceware, and kitchen equipment issues.

  • Transports service items from the warehouse to the restaurants, carefully and promptly.

  • Works collaboratively with specialized trades related to the restaurants.

  • Assists in organizing The Alinea Group’s Warehouse.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Intermediate or higher proficiency with email software and Google Sheets

  • Thorough understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.

  • Experience operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment, ensuring proper safety precautions.

  • Experience in building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.

  • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.

  • Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and climb stairs for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.
